Challenge:
Identify the tools that are available and those that are
needed to support the Global War on Terrorism.
This challenge was presented to one of the working groups of
the Military Operations Research Society (MORS) workshop entitled
"The Global War on Terrorism: Analytic Support, Tools and
Metrics of Assessment" that was held at the Naval War
College, Newport, RI, from 30 November to 2 December 2004.
Accomplishments:
Working Group 3 produced a report
of its results. It also produced a database of tools and an analysis of the database.
